Location
Jinja Nile Resort is 80km from Kampala City and 4kms from Jinja town, 2hrs drive from Entebbe International Airport, and less than 5 minutes drive from Kimaka Airstrip. Both the famous Bujagali falls and the source of the Nile are only 4kms from the Resort.

Property
Set on a 20-acre piece of land on the banks of the River Nile, Jinja Nile Resort (US$8 million investment) commands a strategic location providing a panoramic view of the great River Nile (the longest river in the world).
The property has been beautifully landscaped with lush lawns, palm trees and tropical plants. All public areas have been designed to give guests Nile-facing views.

Facilities

• Guest Rooms
  The resort has 110 guest rooms (all with a double & single bed). The rooms are in colonial-type cottages, and allow for plenty of privacy. All rooms are en suite, have a small sitting room, work desk and a private Nile facing balcony.
  
• The Cuisine
  Our kitchen has been designed to provide appetizing local and international cuisine to guests in various service points.
  There are 2 strategically located restaurants equipped to offer professional service to international standards. Each restaurant has a Nile-facing terrace.
  THE MAIN RESTAURANT comfortably seats up to 150 guests at a time. It has a terrace, which overlooks the swimming pool, and offers an excellent view of the Nile and the surrounding countryside.
  The equally spacious CONFERENCE DINNING ROOM is located near the conference halls and allows fast and effective service to conference participants. It also has an independent bar for serving refreshments to the conferences/workshops guests.
  Snacks are served to the guests at the POOL-SIDE TERRACE.
  For those requiring privacy during their meals, the hotel has 2 private dinning rooms to meet this requirement. Room service is also available to all clients staying at the hotel.
  OUTSIDE CATERING facilities can be provided on request.
  
• Bar
  The resort has 3 bars stocked with a wide selection of wines, spirits and beers.
  The MAIN BAR is centrally located to provide efficient and effective service to the main restaurant, lounge and poolroom.
  The large SWIMMING POOL BAR provides refreshments to guests at the swimming pool and pool terrace area
  The CONFERENCE HALL BAR offers service to guests using the conference rooms (for conferences and private parties).
  
• The Health Club
  The Resort Health Club is equipped with the Italian Techno gym equipment offering several cardio-vascular and free weight machines.
  A large private rest room is provided for guests to relax and refresh themselves after enjoying the facilities at the Gym, Sauna, Steam Bath and Massage Polour.
  
• Recreation/Entertainment
  For recreation and entertainment, the resort offers a free form deck swimming pool (with separate children’s section), badminton, three professional pool tables and darts.
  The hotel also has a squash court, tennis court and a “chip & putt” golf hole golf course is under construction. Golfing enthusiast should be ready for a tough walk on the course!
  The Pool Bar and Poolside Terrace provide a most pleasant ambiance during day and night for relaxing and soaking up the friendly Uganda atmosphere.
  For music lovers, there are facilities for weekend discos.
  And excellent spacious stage (for up to 40 persons) has been provided in the conference hall for plays and bands.

  Due consideration has been given to ensure maximum comfort for the children/baby –guests. Children’s facilities include:

  For residents, there is a special room for children (under 7 years of age) equipped with special cots for different age groups. Experienced nannies are on our staff for their due care.
