Jinja Nile Resort has again been awarded the Travel News awards for Best
Country Hotel and Best Weekend Getaway for Uganda. This is the second
year in a row that the Resort has won these awards.
With the renovations complete, the Resort is even better than
before with new added facilities including Conference rooms, restaurants
and the longest Bar in Uganda !!
New 4 wheel drives in the Mara
To cope with the increace of air safaris into the Mara,
Fig Tree Camp has increased it’s fleet of 4 wheel drive vehicles.
The new range of 4 wheel drives will include 5 new Toyota Land
cruisers and a new Savraj 4 x 4.
All vehicles have been designed with large viewing windows and
open tops. Fig Tree Camp has been very popular for air safaris
originating both from Mombasa and Nairobi.

Mada
Hotels to open in Amboseli
Mada Hotels will open a tented camp in the Amboseli National
Park area in 2008. The camp will consists of 60 tents with breathtaking
views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The project is expected to be completed
by June 2008. We will you keep updated on developments in future
newsletters.
Baobella cruises on Kilifi Creek
 From
this July clients staying at Kilfi Bay and Baobab Sea Lodge will
be able to enjoy sunset cruises on Kilifi Creek on the beautiful
boat “Baobella”. The Kilifi creek surrounded by beautiful
landscape and is rich with birdlife. Light refreshment are served
on board and clients even get to visit a typical Giriama village.
Booking can be made directly at the Kilifi hotels or through
the Mada Central Reservations office.
